ceilometer-alarm-notifier software package provides Ceilometer notification agent, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ceilometer-alarm-notifier
ceilometer-alarm-notifier is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ceilometer-alarm-notifier package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ceilometer-alarm-notifier *
You will get with ceilometer-alarm-notifier package name, version, architecture and description in a table
